Terms of use

These terms are between you and Amardeep Bahra, Guernsey, who runs VroomLap ("we"). By using the VroomLap app, VroomLap Sim or the console, you agree to them.

On track only

VroomLap is for circuits, kart tracks and other closed venues. Never use it on public roads. Mount your phone or display securely, and never handle it while driving. You are responsible for driving safely and within the rules of the venue and the event.

Not a safety system

Lap times, deltas, corner calls, grip warnings and coaching are guides worked out from GPS and motion sensors, which can be wrong or late. Event mode's warnings do not stop you exceeding your limits, and are no substitute for an instructor, the venue's rules or your own judgement. VroomLap's times are not official timing.

Events

At an organiser's event, the organiser sets the rules on your phone and receives your event drives (see our privacy notice). The organiser, not us, runs the event and decides with its insurer what counts as non-competitive.

Organisers

If you use the console for your organisation, you are responsible for having your guests' permission to add their names and emails, for how your staff use their reports, and for keeping your staff list up to date.

Subscriptions

VroomLap Coach is sold through Apple. It renews until you cancel it in your Apple account settings; Apple's terms cover payment and refunds.

Your content

Your sessions are yours. You let us store and pass them on only as needed to run the features you use: your team, your account, your coaching, your event.

Our liability

We provide VroomLap as it is, and work hard to keep it right, but we can't promise it will always be available or accurate. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the app on track, including to vehicles, property or people. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Island of Guernsey.
